What should I do before traveling to Costa Rica for dental treatment?
Before traveling, contact a ConfiDental Patient Coordinator to share your dental history and X-rays. We will evaluate your case, prepare a personalized treatment plan, and help you organize your trip including flights, hotel, and appointment schedule — all before you book anything.
How long should I plan to stay in Costa Rica for dental treatment?
The length of stay depends on your treatment plan. Simple procedures like cleanings or whitening may require just 1–2 days. Complex treatments like full mouth reconstruction or All-on-4 implants may require 1–3 weeks over one or more trips. Your patient coordinator will provide a detailed timeline before you travel.
How many trips to Costa Rica will I need?
The number of visits depends on the complexity of your case. Our team designs treatment plans that consolidate as many procedures as possible per visit. Many patients complete their full treatment in two trips. Your coordinator will outline the full schedule before you commit to travel.
What do I need to bring for my first appointment?
Bring your most recent dental X-rays if available, a list of current medications, a government-issued ID, and your insurance information if applicable. Our team will guide you on any additional items needed for your specific treatment.
