ABOUT DR. JOSÉ GARITA

A native of Costa Rica, Dr. José Garita grew up in a family of dentists. His father was Dean of Dentistry at the University of Costa Rica and founded their first family clinic over 35 years ago. Dr. Garita has since graduated Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (ULACIT) with a degree in dentistry. He is also certified by the College of Dental Surgeons, International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), Universidad de Iberoamérica (UNIBE) and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Upon graduation, Dr. Garita was fortunate to have the opportunity to work in the family clinic where he realized that dentistry was the career choice for him.

Dr. Garita is a member of several organizations including The American Dental Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is also active in local study clubs including the Zimmer Product Training Program and the continuing education program for oral surgery at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana – Faculty of Dentistry.

His love of Costa Rica and the love of dentistry has been a great enjoyment in his life. Since opening his own clinic, he has been practicing dentistry in the San José Metro area and has worked with international patients for many years now.

His focus is always based in the patients needs, working to get the best results with the best experience.
