ROOT CANALS OR ENDODONTICS

An endodontic treatment, commonly known as a root canal, is a procedure used to fix a tooth whose root has been infected but still has enough healthy structure to be saved.
The procedure involves removing the pulp from the infected root from its canal (hence the name), disinfecting the area, and filling it with a composite material. A restoration is then placed on top of the tooth in order to give it back its original shape.
International patients who come for other procedures are often in need of endodontic treatment as well. Endodontic treatment typically takes a single visit, and it is necessary to perform it when needed before other complex procedures can take place.
